Is there another music dance show host that we can ever put at their level? Does Seacrest count?

This is sad ... I grew up with Dick Clark and American Bandstand ....
Dick seemed like a nice guy.
May he find the Heavenly Bandstand just as much fun ...

Music/dance? Not sure.
Although Casey Kasem is getting up there.

edit: looks like Casey got his start with a dance show called, Shebang in the 60's.

Seacrest does a lot of the interacting with the crowd and artists, but Dick Clark still did the countdown.
