I will do as you suggest Mich and stand up to your offensive post.
I am deeply offended that you suggest the right has as race problem. While there are racists out there, on both sides of the political spectrum, the mainstream right is by and large bereft of racism and does an excellent job of policing its own.
The mainstream left, on the other hand, is overflowing with racism, especially of anti-semitic flavor, and protects its own against fair charges of racism. Perhaps worse is the base race-baiting from the left, which uses false claims of racism to divide and enrage the american people and to destroy the fabric of our country.
The mainstream right has moved past race; the left wallows in its abuse. I call on all liberals to stand up for all that is good and right in this life and denounce the vicious, vile race obsession that consumes your side and casts a dark cloud over this country.

I am not arguing that a lot of people on the right are racist. In fact, I believe the contrary. I believe that politicians on the right TOLERATE and some even promote racism, because they do not want to alienate and even want to court that vote. Non-politicians on the right do what both sides do, religously defend their party even when it is not correct. Non-politicians on the right make excuses for and defend the tolerance of racism. That blind defense of ones party is a problem on both sides, but the racism issue seems to be more of a problem on the right.

You have agreed with very lopsided articles on the right. Claiming that they did not catch your attention is not a valid excuse.
As far as vague, in another thread today, I wrote a long post with many points (at least five and perhaps more than 10) and your response was "I disagree." Please spare me the ambiguity argument.

More lecturing from the left on how others should behave and live their life.
Perhaps they would be better off if their focus was keeping their own side of the street more clean than constantly looking to clean someone else's side.

I am forced to stand up to your ass hattery and present you with facts.
"My side" is the right, specifically the libertarians. Any more insinuation that I'm part of the left and I may have to throw one of your unsavory quotes into my signature, the unofficial USC FightOn247 wall of shame.
You say:
"the mainstream right is by and large bereft of racism and does an excellent job of policing its own"
Really?
"At a campaign stop in Sioux City, Iowa on Sunday, Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum singled out blacks as being recipients of assistance through federal benefit programs, telling a mostly-white audience he doesn't want to "make black people's lives better by giving them somebody else's money."
Don't believe me? Lib media conspiracy? Link included below, with video on that page.
Santorum then went on to win the state and watch his campaign surge to the top of national polls.
You then have Newt Gingrich telling blacks to "demand paychecks not food stamps." Legitimate point? Sure. Phrased wrong? Absolutely
Alongside both of the candidates above standing by as Obama is called a Muslim in questions from their audience, it really doesnt look good. When the man vying for the position to be the leader of the free world says things like "it is not my place to correct her that Obama is not a Muslim" it shows no spine in the face of an ugly, supposed fringe.
As far as the mainstream left goes, no, only you believe they are overflowing with racism. I will say redistribution of wealth is an ugly policy that hurts blacks, but that isn't their intent and calling it racist is wildly partisan.

I never insinuated you're part of the left. I know you consider yourself a libertarian, as do I. I hope when you get to college your reading comprehension improves.
More importantly, I don't see anything racist about the quotes you provided. As a libertarian, you too should be opposed to wealth redistribution. And Gingrich's quote is pure truth - black people ought to stand up the the liberal policies that keep them down and demand policies that provide upward mobility.
It seems to me that you are reading racism into everything you see. Maybe you are a liberal after all.

What hypocrisy? You keep accusing me of things, but you fail continually to point out precisely what I've done that would ever remotely qualify as such. You seem to be long on accusations but extremely short on facts or examples.

I do wonder how the Trayvon Martin tragedy reflects poorly on the right.
What did Gingrich say that was racially offensive? That Obama shouldn't have dropped the race card into it? Imagine if a white president had said, of a disputed black-versus-white incident, that he supported the white kid because of his skin color?
The timing of these racial (and lately, gender and class) issues is not a coincidence. The left is gearing up for its race/gender/class war against the half of the country that won't vote for it. It's election time. Time of manufacture some hot-button issues to fire up the base and napalm the character of the opponent.
Never forget how vile the Democrat machine is come election time.

He provided a snippet of a quote with no context that any libertarian, which is what he purports to be, would agree with. Since every other declaration of racism he has provided has been bogus, one must assume the same for that quote and give Santorum the benefit of the doubt. Hopefully he can fill me in... but he seems so busy accusing everyone of being a racist that he probably won't have time.
