I love them both. Two of the best actual musicians of the 20th century. Had this debate with a buddy and he didn't think it was close but I always figured that I could go either way based on mood that day.
I'll tell you one thing, though: Prince would kick Stevie's ass on the basketball court...

you haven't seen Prince's outside shot.
Prince is a better performer than Stevie, I will give him that. Hard to touch to touch the guy's combination of voice, guitar playing, dance and charisma.

HA HA very funny muthaf*cka...stevie wonder is a musical genius!
seriously though...I saw prince last summer. hands down the best performance Ive seen. I was amazed by him. Dude is sick. Made me immediately regret never seeing michale jackson live.
BUT, we're talking about stevie wonder here. Never saw him live...but Im still giving him the nod. close though. Very close.
For $20 you get Chachi, but $40 gets you Fonzie....

Im guessing this has to do slightly with teh fact that its gotta be tough to have a stage presence when youre blind. I mean he can do a lot of rythmic shit...from behind a piano. Prince's set is him walking all over his huge stage, playing one instrument to the next demanding audience attention.
I guess Id have to know what context we are speaking to best answer the OPs question. musically, Id still give the nod to stevie. but flare/performance/presence...without seeing michael...there is nobody like prince when it comes to putting on a show.
