Solar storm headed toward Earth may disrupt power

Expected to start hitting Earth tonight, 9 Pacific time.

Like, perhaps, but not this.
There was a Valentine's Day flare, but not like this.

Apparently these guys have been on Solar Storm Watch since 2006
According to their Guru, Dr. Alexi Dmitriev, it's not just solar flares we need to worry about. He says our solar system is heading into an "interstellar energy cloud" that will really screw us. The Dr. predicts "Global catastrophe! Not in tens of years from now, but in ones of years" .
I don't know - I did have to reboot my wireless router this morning to get onto the internet. I think I'll head back to the bunker now.
