Sadly, if one side comes up with it, the other side will disagree -- no matter how good of an idea it really is.

McCain could have saved the world and still lost that election. His campaign suspension is not what made him lose. It was the idiocy of "Hope & Change", along with Bush Fatigue and crumbling housing market and economy, that sealed the deal in that election.

I don't disagree. McCain was the pilot of a GOP ship hitting the perfect storm. Suspending his campaign didn't help. But as you suggest, just rearranging the deck chairs.

As for USC football, I won't be watching home games on TV. I'll be watching them in the Coliseum.

I would suggest parking yourself in the "free up vote" thread, as many of our posters do, to replenish their up votes on a regular basis.
As to your point, you bet we'll get ads in the World Series. And the NFL games before November too.
