Normal wasted non answer.
ARE YOU OK WITH ONE GROUP PLACING A BOUNTY ON SOMEONE? Is that an OK action in ANY circumstance? And if the group placing the bounty was white, what would your honest reaction be. I don't expect an honest answer though, so you're safe.

Well if its the Hell's Angels or 32 Trey Crips whomever you might have a point.
But if its the Little Sisters of the Poor put out a bounty, let me put it to you this way...I wouldn't be quaking in my boots.
These guys are morons. Stop worrying about them. And eventually....they will go away.
Its like all that shit about Farrakhan that used to be thrown about. Nobody in the black community gave a rats ass what he actually thought. A lot of white reporters in the media did. But basically other than making a bunch of outrageous statements....he is essentially a nonentity.
I remembered when he appeared here in Richmond and the Civic Auditorium. Basically other than the local bay area contingents of his group nobody showed up and nobody cared. The Richmond Police didn't even extend security to the damn thing. And that was at the height of his fame.

So...if a handful of "marginal white guys" posted a placard and went on radio calling for the death of someone, you'd be cool with that? That's what we do with people when they call for someone's execution with a reward? That's what we do when their local leader goes on the publically owned airwaves and calls for his death and saying it's "time for blood in the streets" to defend their race?
I don't care if it's 5, 500 or 5,000 people in that group...that type action needs to be EQUALLY investigated. If not, then they may resort to voter intimidation outside of polling venues...

But is that really relevant? I don't think the question is whether he was reasonably afraid for life and limb when he was following Martin. I think the question is whether he was reasonably afraid when he shot him. And how can you say what is "reasonable" in this circumstance?
I'm glad a jury is going to answer the question though.

In the Trayvon case we were talking about Zimmerman/Trayvon, you then brought up the Trayvon smears (forgive me if this wasn't you. I remember Cato and phear doing it and I seem to remember you doing the same) which are irrelevant, and when that failed you began discussing Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and the New Black Panthers.
Yesterday, in a discussion about the media's handling of intra-racial crime, you began talking about how bullshit hate crimes were.
Today, in a conversation about Zimmerman being in custody, weeks after endless discussion in which you maintained that you were simply "waiting and seeing" about Zimmerman, you decide to devote but one word to the man and go off on a tangent about the New Black Panthers.
I know conversations here aren't linear but geesh, there's a pattern here. And it's ugly.

No, Fuck You LOL
I don't care about these people. They are not a threat to me, you, OR George Zimmerman/
When they actually commit a crime, get back to me.
Until then, with all due respect, Fuck You

Here is the Justice Department’s official definition of "crime" related to threat:
The violence of intolerance and bigotry, intended to hurt and intimidate someone because of their race, ethnicity, national origin, religious, sexual orientation, or disability. The purveyors of hate use explosives, arson, weapons, vandalism, physical violence, and verbal (or written) threats of violence to instill fear in their victims, leaving them vulnerable to more attacks and feeling alienated, helpless, suspicious and fearful.
(Please note the final line - looks like there has been a crime comitted)...so FUCK YOU! (with all due respect).
We know the written threat...here are the verbal ones from the NBPP leader in that area, Michelle Williams:
"Let me tell you, the things that's about to happen, to these honkeys, these crackers, these pigs, these pink people, these fucking people. It has been long overdue. My prize right now this evening ... is gonna be the bounty, the arrest, dead or alive, for George Zimmerman. You feel me?"

If the courts investigate Zimmerman and do find him guilty, without question he should get whatever punishment the law provides. I wonder with all of the press mania how easy will it be for him to get a fair trial. It seems that the press has pretty much found him guilty. Just saying. It shall be one of the most interesting trials in long time. My prediction is that no matter what happens nobody wins.

Of course they said that.
But they are buffoons. The Real Black Panthers had some balls. If they wanted that guy, they'd gone after him.
These fools to put it politely aint gonna do shit!
The threat is idle. The makers are idiots. Quit giving them abilities and powers they do not have!
Oh and they dress badly...real badly....

I tried to explain something like this to another poster about 2+ years ago.
My position then was identical to my position now. These guys are a bunch of idiots that are trying to scare people; however, they are such a joke that they aren't worth the amount of respect that we would be giving them if we allowed them to actually scare us.
