LO to Clips Rumor, lakers involved

Potential 3 team trade. Clips get LO, lakers take on mo Williams with Lamar tpe and Dallas prob gets a pick, clears cap space. Marc stein tweeted a link if you want a source.

Would be a smart move for the Lakers, though it probably means they won't be resigning Sessions.

Not possible under CBA. Washington would need to add about $11M more in salary to make it work.

wow, if...this happen, which player will the Lakers going to pick from the drafts? Doesn't look like a very deep class this year..

I do not like iT for the Lakers since would be giving away a draft pick to Dallas. The Lakers will not add salary without trading away salary.

Giving up the 60th pick for mo is the easiest decision ever. The 8.5 mil of extra salary you take on is the difficult part

Basically it's MO Will for the TPE. Beats what we have on the bench now...even if it is only short term.

While Williams is a better deep shooter....he can't penetrate and isn't as good a playmaker as Sessions. Would you agree?

As the Lakers showed in the trade for Ramon Sessions and the missed trade on Michael Beasley they will not add salary to the team without taking away some. Even though the trade exception allows the Lakers to get Mo Williams and he has one year left on his contract the Lakers may not do the trade unless they can trade some player back to get lower in the salary cap. The Lakers are trying to save money from the luxury tax.
