Kobe needs 39 points tomorrow to win the Scoring Title

  • I'd like to see him go after it....but chances are, he won't even play that much.

  • Don't think he'll even play that much. It would be nice to see him get it considering his age. If he gets hot really early then maybe he'll push for it.

    But bet your house that those puzzies up north will send 3 guys at him every time he touches the ball just to solidify being douche nozzles they are.

    Depends on how his first 5-7 shots go.

    If he starts out hot, they'll let him go. If he's not, they'll let him rest.

    If they let him go for it and he gets hurt...hopefully they let Brown go.

    Looks like Kobe will play and the other starters will rest up.
    Play Kobe normal minutes the 1st half. if hes blowing up then keep him in.
    If he only has about 10 points, pull the plug and sit him the 2nd half.

    Interesting note: The young, raw but uber athletic Christian Eyenga (who we got in the Sessions trade) was called up and will play a bunch in the last game tonight.

    Sacto has nothing to play for, and they can take some satisfaction in keeping Kobe from winning the scoring title.

    AND it would mean more if Kobe won it in spite of the triple teams.

    But Kobe is smarter than the rest of us. He's on record as saying that it's not that important to him. Good for Kobe. Get your reps and get ready for the playoffs.

    isn't this a no brainer? manu ginobli played in the final meaningless game of the season last yr and injured himself and the spurs lost to the griz in the first round

    I think him making a run at it is the ultimate in selfishness. risking the team goals for individual accolades is never a good thing.

    didn't ginobli miss the playoffs last year because he got hurt in the last game of the regular season. Him going for the scoring title would be the equivelent of him playing a pick up game in Venice Beach.
