I have written many times on this and the previous board that I like Jeb Bush and would vote for him. He was very good for Florida. He was more interested in helping Floridians than political nonsense. I wish that there were more politicians like him on both sides of the aisle.

    +1 for Senator Graham.

  • If Jeb Bush had somehow gotten the GOP presidential nomination, in November, I would have written in a vote for Terri Schindler.

That's to be expected of Goober the RINO.

Would you also consider Mitt Romney to be a RINO, or do you find Mitt Romney to acceptable as a conservative?

Uh-oh. Will there be a Tea Party candidate attacking him from the right?

I do not like his politics, but I just googled him and learned about his history. He is a great human being. His parents died when he was young and his sister was even younger. He adopted his sister and took care of her while he attended college. He clearly is a person that takes responsibility for things and takes those responsibilities seriously.

No, I'm not a Romney fan and I voted for Santorum last week.

Not this late in the game. Most Tea Partiers will be voting Republican even if the party nominates a jar of saurkraut.

I believe he is up for reelection in 2014.

I don't always agree with Lindsay Graham but I respect him. It isn't a question of him being a 'RINO' (I have previously suggested that I respect Sens Lugar, Hagel, Cockburn, DeMint)

Solid piece by Frum. It is going to be very interesting to see in which direction both parties move within the next 20+ years.

Regarding Frum: He took over for my favorite male conservative, Tony Blankley, on "Left, Right, and Center". It is rare that I agree with Frum, but I do respect the guy's opinion. He represents a part of the right that I strongly believe we need in this country.
