Hmm... interesting.
Fish was a detriment on the floor, but I liked him and there's no doubt he is/was a clutch player and a leader. I would have liked to see him retire in the off-season rather than be traded.

I agree in part, he should have retired last season.

Ditto. I'm slightly upset the Lakers parted ways with him. The pick i dont mind cuz it was top-20 protected till 2017.
Houston is most probably going to buy him out. I predict Fish goes to a contender, my guess would be OKC. Their backup eric maynor went down for the year so they could use a veteran PG. Under the new cba, fish cannot come back to the Lakers.

Agree, although he still held some value as long as we were running the triangle. Once we changed offenses there was little reason for him to be a Laker. He had a great Laker career, and was a tough (dare I say gutty) player. It would have been since if he had retired a Laker......last year.

So the Lakers give up both their first round picks and a team leader for a player who will leave after the season. The Lakers gave away Lamar Odom to save money. I do not like these trades.
