"We live in an area that's wooded and secluded," Biden said. "I said, Jill, if there's ever a problem just walk out on the balcony here ... put that double-barreled shotgun and fire two blasts outside the house."
The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen - Dennis Prager
I wonder if her secret service detail appreicates Mrs. Biden firing a couple of blasts randomly outside the house.
Did he possibly say that to his wife before being elected VP?
lets hope so.
Sounds like crazy joe might go Dick Cheney and "accidently" shoot somebody
The big difference is that neither Joe nor his wife have discharged their weapon that we know of.
Great leadership there! No wonder we have a problem with the proper use of guns. The leaders of our land our telling us crap like that!
"...an economy hampered by restrictive tax rates will never produce enough jobs or enough profits" JFK
Right. The gun problem is caused by comments like Biden's.
The solution to the "gun problem" is not helped by comments like this from out VP
Once again your reading deficiencies are causing you to come to incorrect conclusions.
I never said it caused it. I said no wonder we have a problem with leadership like that.
I read that statement and my first thought was that this is the type of comment that folks on the right would love.
Judging by this thread, it looks like I was wrong.
You wrote: "Great leadership there! No wonder we have a problem with the proper use of guns. The leaders of our land our telling us crap like that!" If you did not intend to mean that our leaders "telling us crap like that" causes our "problem[s] with the proper use of guns," it is your writing deficiency, not my reading deficiency.
They would if it did not come from a Democratic politician.
People on either side of the aisle are for responsible use of firearms.
People on the right who are protective of their gun rights know that irresponsible use like this jeopardizes those rights.
I have taken multiple gun safety courses and would probably easily pass a CCP course in a state that actually issues such licenses regularly (unlike my home state of CA). I am the norm among conservative gun owners, not an exception.
Unfortunately, those who are NOT well versed in the use of firearms make statements like this and it hurts us all.
No, we would not.
I'm not sure what would make you think folks on the right would be in favor of randomly blasting a shotgun into the woods whenever your scared. It's that kind of behavior that makes me want to have the 2nd ammendment changed or revoked.

I love Biden so freakin' much. He is endless comedy on a large scale.
Join the fight for YOUR liberty!
"If there's ever a problem" is not the same as "whenever you're scared."
