I'll have to wait and see until I visit Sanford to see if this is true
"Dude looks like a friggin rock star" - TrojanWarrior1 on Dzhokhar Tsarnaev
I just saw a report that stated he would be charged with 2nd Degree Murder.
Geez, If NBC is reporting it, then it must be true.
Cue Martha and the Vandellas crooning the tune 'Dancing in the Streets' throughout the land.
Where's Icky when we need him?
What did I miss?
Zimmerman is being railroaded according the greatest legal minds in the galaxy. (sarcasm) You should ignore the possibility that Zimmerman had neither any business or right to do what he did.
an Information has been filed for charges with Murder in the Second Degree in Florida.
Florida law defines second degree murder as:
"The unlawful killing of a human being, when perpetrated by any act imminently dangerous to another and evincing a depraved mind regardless of human life, although without any premeditated design to effect the death of any particular individual, is murder in the second degree and constitutes a felony of the first degree, punishable by imprisonment for a term of years not exceeding life..."
Second degree murder is a first degree felony punishable by life (1st PBL). If a firearm is used, 10-20-Life applies and the crime becomes a life felony with a 25-year mandatory minimum sentence.
It is used in "Heat of the moment" sort of incidents where the alleged Defendant did not have the time to really consciously reflect upon the crime.
Good. Now that this part of the story is over the DOJ can concentrate on investigating and arresting members of the NBP for terrorist actions.
After the "wait and see" all we get is a "good" from you and more comments about some marginal black guys? Go figure...
Isn't this whole thing going to boil down to whether the jury believes Zimmerman reasonably feared for his life or great bodily injury?
It will be interesting to see how the prosecution tries to prove Zimmerman wasn't reasonably afraid for his life or limb. How would you guys argue that point?
Does that include this clothing? Cuz that clothing is definitely a terrorist action.
You do realize that the New Black Panther Party is performance art don't you?
Typically when you are afraid for life and limb, you don't pursue the person you are afraid of. So there's that.
What else would you expect from him?
So...if a handful of "marginal white guys" posted a placard and went on radio calling for the death of someone, you'd be cool with that? That's what we do with people when they call for someone's execution with a reward? That's what we do when their local leader goes on the publically owned airwaves and calls for his death and saying it's "time for blood in the streets" to defend their race?
I don't care if it's 5, 500 or 5,000 people in that group...that type action needs to be EQUALLY investigated. If not, then they may resort to voter intimidation outside of polling venues...
So, I take it you too are OK with a group of white guys making a poster and calling for the death of someone?
Good to know...
Racism is not only being AGAINST one group but DEFENDING another group for its reprehensible actions simply vecause of their race. Your racism is showing again.
Making posters and going on the radio calling the execution of someone is NOT performance art...it's terrorism.
They were investigated and they were found to be what you and I and the old Black Panther Party ("THERE IS NO NEW BLACK PANTHER PARTY!") would agree are a bunch of idiots.
This is from the Washington Times but is by far the best thing I have ever read about them.
They remind me of the old Joke at Second City.
"How do you know about life in the Ghetto?'
"I took Urban Affairs at Northwestern!"
I first heard that in 1976. They still use it.
The New Black Panther Party should be ignored by the media unless they actually do something.
From that bunch? They actually have to have the ability and the mental agility to perform the act. No...they are performance art!
So...that changes everything.
A group of white idiots should call for the death of the latest black murder suspect and put a bounty on him and you would be OK with that? Good to know.
Florida Troy, is that you?
Wow...you are scary in your support of these evil terrorists. It doesn't matter if they can or would follow through...the action is reprehensible. Good to know your view of law and liberty stops with those that you agree with. Dangerous mind.
Seriously? You condone these actions? You are just as sick and twisted as the other than. Anyone who thinks placing a bounty is art or is "OK" is just a sign of truly evil composition of ethics and morality.
Murder 2 requires beyond reasonable doubt. If prosecutors couldn't get charges to stick against OJ, I strongly doubt they get it to stick on Zimmerman.
Close enough. This is not a new thing from Lowpoint. He's been like this for quite some time.
He has a very strong negative bias towards black folks.
Normal wasted non answer.
ARE YOU OK WITH ONE GROUP PLACING A BOUNTY ON SOMEONE? Is that an OK action in ANY circumstance? And if the group placing the bounty was white, what would your honest reaction be. I don't expect an honest answer though, so you're safe.
