Come on Tebow... you can do it, honey!
Jason Collins, who played with the NBA's Washington Wizards this season, has disclosed that he is gay.
Join the fight for YOUR liberty!
Another male athlete does it after his career is over.
I think he'll be picked up again. He did OK for my Celtics and will be a depth piece for someone.
“Close tax loopholes that allow some of the truly wealthy to avoid paying their fair share,” Reagan vowed.
Pretty gay phrasing...
I am sure they can plug him in somewhere.
guess who won't be in the NBA next year.
The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen - Dennis Prager
That's who I was thinking. He's well past it.
Chris Bosh needs to come out. He's at least half a superstar.
He's a dinosaur first and foremost.
The Lakers can pick him up and maybe he'll do a good job penetrating the post.
Yeah. Dinosaur-alien hybrids can't be gay.
Sir, that is simply not true. I have slept with several.
In somewhat related news, Antoine Dodson has announced to the world that he is now straight.
What do the board conservatives think about Collins? Seems like you guys have not weighed in.
I think he's gay.
They haven't had much to say here on this specific subject, but I do want to give the cons/rightists still posting on this board some credit. With one or two exceptions, the cons/rightists still posting on this board have been measurably (by several orders of magnitude) less negative towards and about gay folks when discussing homosexuals and same-sex marriage than what I've read on other sports related message boards over the last couple of weeks.

Goes to show how much farther we have to go to fight discrimination and ignorance.
I think that is a California thing. I think people here - liberals and conservatives alike - have been interacting with openly gay and lesbian people a lot longer and probably a lot more often than most anywhere else.
And yet.....Prop 8....
That makes a lot of sense.
Sexuality, like abortion, is a non-issues for me. I believe they are both used to distract from the really important issue which is how much money politicians are going to steal from us and use to enrich their cronies. For the life of me, I don't understand why anyone cares if someone else is gay or not. I'm way more offended by a guy who has terrible taste in women.
The big issue here is that pro athletes have this big thing about being in a locker room with a gay guy, which is silly. I've been in a locker room with gay pro athletes, we've all been in a locker room with gay people, and we've all survived it. There was a time when people wouldn't swim in a pool with black people, somehow we all survived that too, and have moved on.
Who knew that you have a sickness...no different than smallpox.
The clip is taken from a film dealing with a perceived danger to young boys: Homosexuals!!! Unbelievable!
President Obama should call Antoine to congratulate him like he did Collins.
Hahahaha! I agree!
That would make a funny video skit for one of those correspondent dinners/roasts.
