Do you actually believe these accounts? Let's see; in order for that many officers to leave and then return in "full gear" requires a Lieutenant's (at the very lowest) approval. That many Officers require crossing Division boundaries which then get other Lieutenants involved. Lieutenants must answer for all overtime, and answer big time. The same Lieutenants must also write reports which they normally would not have to do. No way are all those officers coming back to that party geared up because of some racial thing that all of them secretly share. But hey, that is what some of you are willing to believe...
Nope, they came back because they had bottles thrown at them. I am guessing that Mr. Howard did not see this, but that certainly doesn't mean it didn't happen. He is certainly seems prone to exaggeration as well as diminishing facts (particularly crowd estimates) based upon his Larry Elder interview. BTW, this dude is known for his big & wild parties which require hiring private security. Yeah, they just hire them to make sure no one under 21 is drinking. Yeah, maybe you believe that one too.
As to the cops just waltzing into a house across the street at 4:00 AM, I don't think so. There is way more to what happened over there. The fact that they appeared to be looking for someone in particular begs a lot of questions. I have been there many times. Cops hate large parties, and in this case don't think for a moment that there weren't black cops there along with the white and Hispanic cops only that Howard indicated. Bottom line, you guys are sure ready to convict on only one side of the story.
Meanwhile, don't get me wrong, I am not the biggest fan of L.A.P.D. However, it was mentioned that there was some sort of problem with their handling of Dorner. What a crock. That guy had been trouble since first grade. His problems with his Training Officer were very typical of poor performers. He was an officer safety nightmare. When he got written up, he cried racism.
Just look at the various photos of him in the Academy, especially holding a handgun in a dangerous "Hollywood" fashion. Many here may not know that he was "recycled" because he shot himself on the firing line while apparently hotdogging. He should have been fired for that alone.
"Politically correct" Charley Beck should have explained all of this along with the fact that Dorner had TWO HEARINGS and was bounced for cause. Dorner was an A.H. pure and simple and he proved this very clearly in the end. Instead, Beck tried to placate people who needed the facts, not strokes.
Use some common sense on this folks.

What the hell do they expect USC to do? In the sit in video, one sign reads "Does USC value diversity?" And another says "Aren't we part of the Trojan Family?" Maybe I missed the news about USC running the LAPD?
Ah, but wouldn't it be cool if we did?!

They were also talking about DPS. There is quite a bit of racial profiling to get past the 'peace fence' (sic) after 9pm every night.
“Close tax loopholes that allow some of the truly wealthy to avoid paying their fair share,” Reagan vowed.
If you were at the meeting yesterday there were probably 60 witnesses that saw pretty shocking abuse. Much of it caught on camera. No bottles being thrown were. And even if one person did do that, I don't think it justifies the reaction.
You are very gullible.
I just play the odds. When 100,000 people claim they saw USC play football, I tend to believe them too.
Charges were dropped against USC students arrested when police shut down two loud parties earlier this month, leading to allegations of racial profiling by officers.
After the news dies down. I know quite a few students had a really hard time logistically with papers and exams in order to graduate. I hope it all got sorted but I can't be sure at all that it was.
