What is the OT's board feelings on Jimmy John's?

Loved it when I was in the Midwest. Wish they were in California.
I really like that they are very, very fast. Pretty good subs--not the best--but still decent. Jersey Mikes is another one that is big here, but I'm kind of over them.
A little light on the meat, but the bread is great. And, as mentioned, they are really fast.
I just wish TOGO's was up here in the Northwest
pretty decent, not great sandwich. Way better than Subway (which I all but refuse to eat). For a chain, pretty good.
I had it for lunch today, and it was my 3rd time eating it in the last week. 75 cents extra for cheese is lame, but the sandwiches are great. They have good chips too (jalapeño). Their commercials are some of the best on TV (though Jack in the Box commercials are better).

Agreed. Subway's meat tastes like slimy wax.
Have you ever done Shlotzkys?
Schlotzskys: Every Bite Lotz Better!
Yeah youre spoiled... i miss that place. But i love Jersey Mikes
You know, I always meant to. Good?
Very good and the sammiches are HUMONGOUS. I love that word, "humongous." LOL
What sets Schotskys apart from everyone else IMO is the bread
I am lucky because we have a Schlotskys and a Jimmy Johns about three blocks apart here in Athens
Firehouse Subs is another quality place here
Best sandwiches ever though were the Turkey, Cranberry and Swiss Cheese at Stottlemires Deli in Sierra Madre and Laguna Beach back in the day
Best bread everrr

I just tried Jersey Mike's for the first time this past weekend. Great sandwich.
I am enjoying a Schlotzkey's Original Right now and the sourdough bread really makes it excellent. And the salt and vinegar chips are delicious too!
See...you were doing great until you said you were eating douche chips. The smell of vinegar makes me want to barf.
Vinegar love is an Italian thing.
I'll do the Italian butter...olive oil and balsamic to dip the bread in. Otherwise, no thanks!
Firehouse is pretty good--just ate there today. Another good one is Larry's Giant Subs but they never seem to stay in business around here. Publix Supermarkets makes a great sub. As does Lawless, a local favorite.
Fire House is a Greek Restaurant, ok maybe just the one over by me is.
Now you went and said it... theyll go good in the Guac and Sirachi.....
+1 for firehouse subs
It's the weed capital of the world. Long dreads. Girls with hairy armpits. Where there's hippies, there's weed - Oregon Duck Reuben Droughns
I've never tried one, however, they look and sound delicious. There is still something about their radio marketing campaign though that kind of-sort of-not sure why, bothers me a little bit. I have the utmost respect for firefighters, police, as well as other first responder type of people, however, don't play on that when trying to sell me something...comes across a little disingenuous.
I'm still going to go out and try one of their beef brisket/cheddar sammiches though.
