Someone left a Info Wars bumper sticker on my windshield this afternoon while I was in the gym and so, I decided to check out the site when I got home. I've never heard of it before or Alex Jones for that matter and by the looks of the site, it seems like it's filled with some pretty edgy political stuff.
Is anyone here a fan of this Alex Jones guy and his work? Also, are these people like conspiracy theorist believers who believe that the government is out to get us?
I'm not into politics at all and I know that the O.T. forum is full of political talk, so I figured this would be the right place to go.

Alex Jones is an acquired taste. Pretty firmly rooted in the Libertarian movement. He gets a little wacky sometimes - witness his interview with Pierce Morgan on CNN where he advocated deporting Pierce for conspiring to take away our right to bear arms - but his intentions seem to be pure, best I can tell. He's really a big advocate of the 9/11 truth movement and exposing participants in the Bildeberger (sp?) secret society.
Join the fight for YOUR liberty!
Alex Jones on Prime Time with Piers Morgan...
Alex Jones 'debates' CNN's Piers Morgan on gun control. Things get a little heated.

Thanks for the response, Spirit.
From watching some of his stuff on YouTube I've learned a few things that I had no clue about. The first being the illuminati and the second being Bohemian Grove. Not sure how true the illuminati stuff is, but that bohemian grove video that Jones recorded was pretty scary.
+1 for Alex Jones!
I go through cycles of reading or ignoring his infowars/prisonplanet stuff. There is definitely truth in there, but sometimes it is just as obscured as anything else in mainstream media. I generally take him with a grain of salt; I think he had good intentions, but by nature comes off as a sensationalist at times. But then again, i am a bit of a conspiracy theorist myself (mostly in the fact that I believe that most people or government organizations will not tell the truth unless they are forced to).
Alex Jones is a nut.
“Close tax loopholes that allow some of the truly wealthy to avoid paying their fair share,” Reagan vowed.
It's all over the place, I need more time to process it.
Glenn Beck thinks Alex Jones is too conspiratorial and right-wing. You can't make this up.
I want a count of how many times Pierce Morgan says "Alex!" during that 14 minute debacle on CNN.
You are an extreme libertarian. You want to get rid of much of our government (e.g. you mentioned the CIA recently). However, you are not what I would consider a nut job. You are merely extreme. He is a nut job.
Thank you. I'm no wacko!
Are you going to run for office on that platform?
Yes. And after I win I'll fire myself in the spirit of smaller government.
That is what I call Value Engineering!
Spirit...that's the best thing i've ever seen you type. :)
Alex Jones on HOWARD STERN! Great listen!!!
