Celtics acquire Courtney Lee.

Not saying Rose isn't that important. In fact...that wasn't even my point. I was referring to Bosh vs the Cettic four missing. Give me Green and Bradley and I'm good.

There aren't many players in the league that have Rose's ability to change a game. At the same time...I wouldn't call Green and Bradley 2nd and 3rd tier players, neither.

Bradley was playing 24 mins a game, how many other 1st tier guys are playing that?

Bradley was injured. Shoulder keep popping out. How many 2nd tier players replace Ray Allen in the starting line-up? Even after Ray returned. Bradley made his mark and Ray is gone because of it.

  • I think losing Ray will really hurt the celtics. not only does he leave, he goes to their main rival. He's what a lot of teams need...a guy who isnt a total liability defensively, but one that can post up on the 3 pt line and bury jumpers consistently. Rondo driving and kicking was a nightmare for other teams to defend. Now LBJ/Wade driving and kicking to him...yikes.

    C. Lee is a good addition to the celts...but I think if Miami gets ANY production out of R. Lewis one has to view their off-season as more successful.

For $20 you get Chachi, but $40 gets you Fonzie....

I respect that. But if someone were to offer you Jason Terry and Courtney Lee for an aging Ray Allen?...at the very least you would have to consider the deal. Basically...that's what the Celts did. Got both players without touching the rotation.

word, I get that. JT's game is a littel different....but he can spot up and knock down as well. My only thought is that he is more of a scorer (prone to drive and create), so maybe his best minutes will come spelling rondo as a creator. That would be my only angle as to why Ray's game might prove to be more valuable. Ray knows to sit on the 3 pt line which allows rondo an outlet, but also gives the interior more space. JT (and scorers in general) tend to shy towards open areas (inside the 3 pt line at tiems) which can be a cause for congestion.

we'll see though. f*ck, baseball cant end quick enough.

Celts added a little versatility with JT's game. I like it.

Celts will be tough with Terry and Rondo on the floor at the same time. Opens things up for Pierce, KG, Bsss, Green, Lee, and other jump shooters. Makes for a great small line-up. Matches up well against other small line-ups to, as well.

    You're kidding?

Adding Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis - with a healthy Bosh, who Boston couldn't beat when playing in the playoffs - puts Miami far ahead of Boston.

Bostons post season accomplishments were the worst thing that could've happened to them. They're now deluded into believing they're close.

In reality, it was all smoke and mirrors. Kinda like the Dodgers quick start.

I dunno. Depends on which Ray Allen they got. Ray, as much as he did for the Celtics in general, stunk the joint out in the Playoffs. Rashard Lewis is a decent get and a healthier Bosh sure helps. But then reckon in a healthy Avery Bradley, a healthier Paul Pierce, Courtney Lee, a healthy Jeff Green, a healthy Chris Wilcox, Jason Terry and then a couple of big men in Fab Melo and Sully who I think might be better than the two bigs off the bench last year.

Put it this way: it is definitely an argument.

And the Dodgers only slumped because Kemp's hamstring got hotter than his bat. Once Kemp, Eithier and Lilly get settled back into the line-up, normal business shall be resumed.

“Close tax loopholes that allow some of the truly wealthy to avoid paying their fair share,” Reagan vowed.
