I have a slightly different perspective. Lay down may not be the right words but I don't see much fight when the camera scans the sidelines. I see individuals celebrating plays on the field when we're still down on the scoreboard. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they shouldn't celebrate a big play but let's save the celebration on defense for when they are forced to punt. Even when the camera goes to Lane he never looks confident or in charge. He looks nervous, almost unprepared. It's hard to describe but I'd feel better if he came out a bit arrogant. The previous Friday Night Videos don't look that inspiring in our locker room. When I watch this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kleLJfKDYUE ) I wanna take the field and rip someones heart out. I want to put it all on the line for my teammates, for SC. I want to see that kind of passion in the 4th quarter. Lay down, no, but I don't see the win at all costs attitude in the 4th quarter. Sorry but the ucla game has really left me uninspired about the future of SC football.

This team will play hard the whole game against ND, no doubt in my mind.

You sir are an idiot, I for one am not Catholic but I doubt too many people are concerned with Kelly's own personal beliefs on non football related issues. The fact you've been a better team the last decade isn't debatable but if you don't think your on field performances are a microcosm of the lost faith in your staff then I don't know what to tell you. Your team is not going to quit but if the players aren't buying into the coaches anymore then it won't matter. While you bash our schedule I hope you realize that it was preseason #1 and considering how eveybody likes to point out how poorly we beat teams then I'd assume it would be common knowledge that we can't win other team's games for them as
well. Anything else you took as bravado was simply me saying the records don't matter in games like these so I expect a fight from the condoms.

Lane Kiffin sure as hell out coached BK last year and I have a feeling he will this year.....get over yourself Irish...you're finally relevant and you just don't know how to act...Can't wait to knock you guys down a few notches....

Edit: You didn't answer my question...was your coaching staff "incompetent at best" when you went 8-5 last year?

And the most pathetic thing is not only did you no attend the cult at Notre Dame, you probably have never even graced the campus. Go away , lock yourself in your mother's basement, and get ready to be beat Saturday.

You realize your poster rating is probably 95% made up of YOUR OWN BOARD, if they don't like you then why should I take you seriously? But to address your assumptions I was actually born in South Bend and have "graced" campus many times but you are right about attendance, I attend a quaint little liberal art school in Charleston until
completion in December, probably on par academically with USC.

USC is a University. Notre Dame is a University. I do not hate anyone from USC. I wish them all well in their lives. I hope Notre Dames football team beats the USC football team and that is the end of my hoping for anything. I don't get how someone from either of these, or any university fan could hate someone they have never met. Anyway, good luck to all, Happy Thanksgiving, and enjoy the game. May the best team win.
