Who Was USC's Best Offensive Tackle Ever?

So am I considering he is the 2nd best Mexican football player ever from Chaffey High School, but he was injured too much in college to really be in consideration IMO.

Nobody likes Anthony Munoz more than I do, but he played 8 games total between his junior and senior seasons.

This....and it's not just Trojans that think this.
I think we have the two best, all time. Anthony Munoz and Bruce Matthews - Bruce could play every position on the offensive line.

I would say Brad Budde. He was a great college lineman even if not a great pro.

Anthony Munoz played one full season at USC. John Robinson thought he was one of the best players he'd ever seen at any position, but 3 serious knee injuries resulted in him barely playing at USC http://www.profootballhof.com/history/release.aspx?release_id=1904
Guess it all depends on how you frame the question. My father played little league baseball and high school football with Munoz, and he came and spoke to my high school team a few times. Great guy.

Munoz gives a lot of his time to charitable causes. See him every year in San Antonio the week of the Army Game. Great, great man.

Wow. We had some great tackles. In each era there were great tackles. Of those mentioned Ron Yary was amazing. He went to Bellflower High. He was a little younger than me but had already made a name for himself. Back in those days we did not have high school weight programs like today. You pretty much went with the size and talent you were blessed with. Ron had both. He was amazing. Of course Anthony Munoz and Brad Budde were no slouches and of course neither was Boselli. Trying to compare all of these guys would be a difficult task as they played under different rules and conditions. However, it sure is fun to speculate.
