Sure, but in that one game they held that offense to 13 points. Also, Miami is a top 50 offense, and they got 3 points. Guys like Nix and Tuitt just don't grow on trees. The secondary is young, but have held up well vs. other passing offenses this year. ND takes away the big play and makes teams drive 8-10 plays to score. The fact that USC has a knack for getting bad penalties and has a new QB playing this week, that might be difficult to do.
That said, guys like Lee and Woods can change a game on one play by themselves, so who knows.

To date, the best scoring offenses ND has faced are #9 OK, #48 Michigan, # 56 Miami, #69 Stanford, #70 Purdue, #71 Pitt, #72 BYU, #81 Navy, #103 BC, #108 MSU, #118 Wake
Not exactly murderers row there.
Given that ND's scoring offense is #73 themselves...your hubris is comical.

Not that I want to see another all-SEC NC game, but for all that is good, please beat the Irish. I may never hear the end of it from my ND alum best friend, who unfortunately is also incapable of quoting from Joe Dirt because he actually has a formal education.
