USC 2011 NCAA Free Agency

  • I think a lot of our fans are forgetting this still exists as a penalty from tha sanctions. Any our our Academic Jrs/Seniors can transfer without sitting out any time, even within tha Pac12. Who do you think are canidates in the near future? I think next year canidates to leave would be Baxter, Prater, Flournoy. All talented , competitive players yet to get significant PT. Prater I hope stays he is a Physicall beast and only a Sophmore nex year.

I believe you are wrong on this. The free agency was for the juniors and seniors at the time of the sanctions, not continuous throughout. That means that this year's senior class was the last class that could take that route.

  • Actually, I don't think this does exist anymore. The original ruling was allowed because USC had a postseason ban, which will no longer be the case after this year. Also, even when the "free agency rule" was in effect, the PAC-10 was still enforcing a one-year transfer ineligibility rule for players wanting to leave SC and transfer within conference

I'm all in for 2013. Fight On! Leave No Doubt.

You are wrong. The only players that can still transfer penalty free are the current SRs. At the end of the year, no players will be able to transfer penalty free.
