Obviously, USC didn't make it a priority to let him know how many films, commercials and TV shows have been filed at USC....there is even a USC Campus Filming Office. http://www.usc.edu/pr/filming/

USC has the oldest and largest film school in the US established in 1929. Tomlinson Holman inventor of THX, Alfred Hitchcock, George Lucas, John Wayne and the list goes on. Just a few interesting names for the kid to think about?

thanks for the mention of tom holman. i have known the man for over 40 years, since his undergraduate days at the university of illinois. you made a good choice of a person to represent both USC and its film school!

fUCLA is a public school, with the only connection to Westwood is the location. There are more USC alums in that neighborhood than fUCLA grads.
