The pac12 and the sec are in the drivers seat.

For those of you worried about becoming irrelevant without Texas and ou look at it this way the pac12 is football west of Texas. The pac12 has a huge geography advantage and the sec has the strength and power like no other. These other conferences have neither.

The PAC 12 is ranked the 4th toughest confrence right now. Absoulutely shameful however you want to dice it IMO. Texas and OU would of helped big time when it comes to PAC 12 teams getting into the NC game. 2 loss teams would play in the show. It's Just my opinion

A SEC team always plays in the National Championship over teams from other BCS conferences if they have the same record. If the SEC and ACC expand the Pac 12 may fall behind in media coverage.

Our conference ranking has never hurt us before. I don't think 2 loss teams will make the show maybe one but not two 2 loss teams. I look at it this way the sec gets a bye to the natty period so it's 3 conferences vying for the last spot. If we go to a playoff it won't matter anyway.

It's true no matter how unfair it is. I think part of the reason we get so little respect is because every pac team except USC routinely shits the bed on big stages.

You can blame TY for 2003, I believe it was ND's loss to Syracuse that bumped USC down.

Mb2 Trojan has dispelled this several times. USC has not once got screwed because of the weak conference.
