Really? You want to go down that route?
1925, undefeated, Rose Bowl win, fair claim 1926, undefeated, Rose Bowl tie, (shared) fair claim 1930, undefeated, Rose Bowl win, (shared) fair claim 1934, undefeated, Rose Bowl win, fair claim 1941, 2 losses, 3rd place in conference, 20th in AP poll (prebowl), won Cotton Bowl, Minnesota undefeated that year, imaginary title 1961, undefeated, Sugar Bowl win, fair claim 1964, 1 loss, Sugar Bowl LOSS, AP title awarded before bowl, Arkansas undefeated that year, imaginary title 1965, 1 loss, Orange Bowl Win, AP title, fair claim 1973, undefeated, Sugar Bowl LOSS, Coaches title awarded before bowl, notre dame beat Alabama and won the AP title, imaginary title 1978, 1 loss, Sugar Bowl Win, won AP, HOWEVER, the 1 loss was to the other Nation Champion, USC. Tainted Title. 1979, undefeated, Sugar Bowl win, fair claim 1992, undefeated, Sugar Bowl win, fair claim 2009, BCS, fair claim 2011, BCS, fair claim
So that's ten, not fourteen. MAYBE 11, but really 10. 1941, 1964, 1973 are clearly imaginary. And 1978 is very shaky.
Even so, irrelevant. You still schedule no one.

I had no idea that the pollsters, computer rankers, and rating systems had picked USC so much more often than Alabama as national champion.
I don't agree with all of it, but hey it's the consensus and the majority of the selectors and pollsters think over the last century that USC is the lord of the rings.
Of course, I already knew that, but its just that much better when 75% of the college football world says the same thing.
Only about 3 of 33 selectors have Bama with more titles than USC!!
