Gotta love how this thread is at +3. This dude probably was over on his team's board and banded together a group of Bama Internet warriors to come over here and up-vote his thread.

I actually like Nick Saban and his Bama team, but they sure have some losers in their fanbase.

You're actually wrong about that. We all have some fans that like to run off at the mouth but most of us Bama fans take pride in having class and representing our university well. This guy is obvisiously an idiot that's full of himself and what y'all give him he deserves. And yes he did come over to BOL and mention this post and most said he was a dumb ass for doing it. More than likely it's some young punk that doesn't know shit about football. USC has great players, I for one do not like their coach but that's my opinion. Depth is what hurt them yesterday plain and simple. We have been through scholarship losses and that's where it hurts you the most in the second half or when injuries happen. You guys will be back for sure with the way you're recruiting and I hope we play someday. It will be a hell of a game. Good luck on your season. Roll Tide and stay classy Bama.

So 2 people represents our university as a whole? 1 was drunk as hell on bourbon street and the other just an Fing idiot that retalliated for auburn messing with coach Bryant's statue and Sabans house. Buddy I'm sure you have some fans that's done some crazy shit as well.

It would make message boards interaction between rival team's fans much more interesting and fun.

I think SC is on the right track in the long run, and I think what hurt SC last night was a combination of complacency due to buying into the offseason hype (one of the TEs even said the team expected the game would be handed to them) and the lack of depth.

The lack of depth could be overcome if the team was practicing and playing with a real chip on their shoulder, and you can win some games that you probably shouldn't have due to a lackluster attitude if you have enough talent and depth.

But a lack of depth and an attitude of entitlement is a deadly combo.

hope that we see you guys in a National Title game soon. Maybe this year if SC can get things turned around over the course of the season and some of these inexperienced guys who have gotten thrown into the fire grow up. That's a tall order, and probably won't happen, but I won't give up hope until there is no possibility anymore.

I used the example of Bama in 2010 in a thread last night as a team with similar entitlement issues to what this USC team has.

Both teams had accomplished great things in the previous year- Bama had won a NC and USC had come roaring back from being written off for dead to showing they could play with anyone and that the program was alive and well despite sanctions.

In both cases, the players started to believe the hype, which is only natural. Until you have been through it and realize that hype doesn't actually win you any games, it's hard not to subconsciously be affected by the media and everyone in your life telling you how great you are.

I know that Nick Saban is the coach in CFB that Lane holds in a higher regard than anyone else, so I hope he takes a very close look at how Saban has learned to fight against entitlement in his players. Whatever Saban is doing this year, it is working. Your team looks hungry, focused and ruthless (in a good way). They never let up and step on the opponent's throats when they have them down.

Pathetic. You lost, deal with it. I did none of those things your mentioned so I have no reason to be apologetic. Your team could have run the table if they could have stayed healthy but those are the breaks. You are thin because of former players cheating but your current team has to pay for it. Anyway, that's life, sometimes it sucks. Your players seem to have plenty of fight left in them and that is what you need. You have a tough road ahead. I think you will have to beat Oregon twice to win the PAC 12 and good luck with that. I think your match up with them better than Stanford but your D is gonna be gassed if you let them stay on the field. Anyway, good luck the rest of the way to everyone except this moron I responded to.

My darling, if they could only claim those few degenerates, I wouldn't comment.....but their Walmart fans outnumber the good guys. Family brawls/shooting over football and loutish behavior rule. We all have thuggish fans, they just have a greater percentage.

Attend a few SEC games...they brag about their game day experience, but they use it as an excuse to act like drunken fools.
