When I get to my seat, it's 16-15 USC... Make that 18-15 with an extra attempt by Terrell coming... Timeout on the court
22-20... Terrell is fouled... The Trojans travel... Fontan steals it back... Wise misses... Burton makes it 22-22... Wesley makes it 24-22
Collier ties it... Oraby is called for a foul
Terrell with a nice block.. Dedmon scores and is fouled... He makes it... 27-24
Fontan makes a three... Sc gets a stop and Terrell makes a jumper... 32-24 USC
Dedmon is called for a foul... OSU in bounds and Wise fouls Collier... One and one... Misses but beaver rebound and Dedmon fouls again
Meal on makes it 32-26... Terrell misses but Wise cleans it up... He scores and is fouled... He makes the free throw and it's 35-26 USC
Schaftenaar makes a three... Sc takes a timeout with 3:55 remaining in the first half
Sc turns it over and the beavs take a timeout... 35-29 USC
Jump ball, but it stays with Oregon State... The beavs turn it over
Sloppy basketball... A to. Of traded possessions with no result... The high light of the sequence was a turnover by Fontan which led to a missed lay up... Wesley scores after that to make it 37-29
Wise misses a free throw and Oregon State is fouled by JB... With 5.5 seconds left, two free throws for the beavs... Sc pushes the ball and JB dunks it at the buzzer... 39-31 USC
Team looks 1,000% different. You could see the potential in the close game against Oregon and I was hoping the loss wouldn't deflate the team when you can see how close they came to beating 16-2 Oregon (who just beat UCLA today and had previously beaten then undefeated Arizona). I gotta tell you no matter what the final outcome of this game the second half of the season should be fun. Lots of players getting into the game. Kantu seems to be the anti-O'neil in terms of in terms of perrsonality and game management. I work for a boss who micromanages me to death and I hate him. Rather than prevent mistakes, which are the things that terrify a micromanager the most, it actually causes me to make them and I am in the process of finding a new opportunity. I think O'Neil is a similar type of person to my boss. Highly competent but a terrible leader so none of it translates.
