I think we all know what we look like right now due th excellent recruiting coverage by Scott and Co. Just a few spots left to muse over. Here is my take based on what we know.
1 QB Browne
2 RB Davis
3 RB Isaac
4 OL Falah (If Falah wants to take visits...?)
5 OL Rogers (thanks Jackson)
6 OL Harrison (Larue can take visits)
7 WR Mitchell
8 DT Vanderdoes
9 DT Robinson
10 DT Bigelow
11 DE Fitts
12 DE Larson (Hatcher wants to take visits... take visits)
13 LB Trey Johnson or Prevot (Prevot can take visits)
14 LB Hutchings
15 CB Ramsey
16 CB Hawkins
17 FS McQuay or Matthews at Lber or Adams
18 SS Cravens
Matthews is a way better LB prospect IMO than Matt Thomas or even Prevot. Matthews is thick , quick and sick!!! Instinctive! It would be great to have him and Hutchings as LBers in this class.
Prevot adds an element of speed at DE once he bulks up
Big JC OT Harrison is desperately needed insurance at LT however a big questions looms.
Is he a JC off lineman in the mold of John Drake or F, Mailo ? or... in the mold of a Galten, Garness? We cant afford a miss here.
If Harrison is more of a project type then perhaps go after Adams and see if A Robinson might want to be an AA OG /OT or not
Hatcher is good but we cannot afford a situation like Peat and Murphy where we strike out. So if Lawson is ready to commit and shut down visits and Hatcher wants to visit...then ... adios my man Hatcher.
Larue wants to visit, he picked the wrong year to do it if he wants to be a Trojans.
These are decisive times for USC recruiters and recruits..
Could Fitts grow into a OT? I heard he was up to 6-4 270
Does Falah want to continue to take visits?
From top to bottom this would be the best class I can remember at USC. Could use 5 star OL to make it the absolute best. But defensively just amazing what the staff has done with the cards they were dealt from the corrupt NZAA.

Without nitpicking your list, we can certainly agree this class is looking unusually strong ... even for USC.
Couple of things:
1. You may need to include WR Dareus Rogers
2. You mean Khalid Rogers at OL instead of Thomas.
I like the list, yet would have no problem with Hatcher and Prevot. Both have tons of offers. Same with LaRue. LaRue just plays a position that we have significant depth.

You know I don't have a prob with Hatcher or Prevot either.
Its just that the visit thing and if Larson and Matthews or Adams or are ready to close ti down and be Trojans well ....I take the commit to the one that is done dating and is ready to marrying me as it were lol
But I really like Hatcher however I think Larson is a freak! and has more upside. But I am happy with Hatcher. Its the dating thing like with Murphy and Peat last year.
You either have to include Rogers in the 18, or only have 17.
"Larue wants to visit, he picked the wrong year to do it if he wants to be a Trojans."
That's unnecessarily antagonistic. LaRue knows his situation, and he knows that he might get "Mickens'ed" so to speak, so he's just looking out for himself.
OT Harrison could start right away, that's why they're after him so much. Garness and Galten, as well as Kelley were emergency recruits to fill the extra EE spots that would have gone to waste in 2010 when he had to get like 9 EEs. They were projects, and their primary purpose was depth on the practice field I'd say.
