All of this worrying about what some 17 year old kid is going to do seems so irrelevant when real life intervenes. I'm new to the board and no longer live in LA so I never had the pleasure to meet your father. It is obvious that he was very respected and loved by many. My prayers continue to be with you and your family.

So sorry to hear the news, my condolences to you and the rest of the Schrader family. As a young journalist, I wish to emulate a career such as Loel's, It was a real treat to have him post here and talk about USC back in the McKay years. He will be missed.

Scott, very sad to read of your fathers passing this morninng. May the support and love of your friends, family, and all of us on this and other boards help ease you through this difficult time. I too will celebrate the life of your father today, And will keep you in my thoughts.

My heart goes out to you, my dear friend Scott. I'm so sorry that we now share this sad milestone in life as well....Praise God for the wonderful man you were honored to call father.
Sad loss for us, the Trojan Family as well. We will miss him, and always be thankful that we could read his great stories here for the time we were blessed to have him.
