Dude Michigan is the biggest stage period. Seating a small 115,000 with games broadcasting world wide on TV with the LARGEST alumni base period.
We are returning to where we should never have left. Getting the best of the best recruits regardless of where they are living. Michigan is a world wide and galactic brand my friend. Many Michigan grads have commanded shuttles, Apollo missions and walked on the moon. The inside rumor is along with a full size American flag on the moon. A smaller Michigan flag is on the moon as well.
Now that is influence my friend!
GO BLUE!

And while he was posting that State of the Union, he was looking over his shoulder thinking Urbie was watching him.
Don't get me wrong...I hope you guys stomp a mud-hole in that bastard. But as long as Urbie is at tous?...you may not be on the biggest stage in the Big 10.

This response really confuses me.
If you are trying to say we are not on the biggest stage in the B1G because of coach urbs doin' work (sons) at ohio, that is true for now. But I can care less. I wouldn't trade Coach Hoke for any coach in the nation, college or pros, and I am serious. He has not yet picked up the accolades that some people think is necessary for legitimacy, but I am more than confident that will change as soon as his recruits get on the field.
If you ask me, Penn State is on the biggest stage in the B1G. But that's a touchy subject, I'm not gonna go there
Sorry for rehijacking an already hijacked thread. I hope we land McQuay

You shouldn't be confused. While coach Hoke is on the rise...he's no Urbie. Might be a better coach overall...but Urbie's personality overshadows Hoke twice over.
That biggest stage mentioned is about winning. You guys better hope this cockroach doesn't get rolling or you'll be right back where you were a couple years ago.
Best of luck. I've always rooted for Michigan when they play Ohio State.

Dude, much respect to the UM Wolverines. But with posts like this, homie, you are really putting yourself out there. UM is on its way back, no doubt, but UM ain't quite there yet. All that space shuttle, moonwalking with the Michigan Go Blue! flag n' stuff, ain't going to save you against Alabama. You got to perform on the field. And if you are getting the "best of the best of recruits no matter where they are living," then handling Alabama in Jerry World should be no problem. Now we, at USC, got some pretty good recruits as well. And I promise you, all Trojans would agree that Alabama would give us all we can handle, because they got some of the "best of the best" talent too. I'm sure Neil Armstrong, who was on the moon with you Michigan men, would agree.

No I was not like "he isn't a big enough name". I researched him and I was actually very excited about the hire. While he has surprised me along with the rest of the nation thus far, his immediate success shocks me far less than it does most people. It's the same as landing a 3* recruit with a high ceiling. The same people who get their panties in a bunch over not landing 5*s are those who probably freaked out when they heard about the hire. Sometimes high risk leads to high reward, and Coach Hoke's tenure epitomizes that

Researched him and then was excited about the hire?!? Jeeeeeeez. I thought you were a big Michigan fan. Hell, he had been an assistant coach at Michigan for like 6-7 years if I'm not mistaken. He wouldn't even wear red while he was head coach at San Diego State (colors are red and black) because he's such a Michigan fan and wouldn't wear Buckeye colors. The guy was not a high risk coach for you at all.
I would have thought as a Michigan fan you would have known all about him

If I could downvote you right now, I would. I Promise.
I didn't follow Michigan history before becoming a student a few years ago. Supported the university but was not a fanatic, grew up on the east coast. Until I first heard his name, no I wasn't aware of his background as an assistant in the 90's. There were a lot of assistants in the 90's. And I'm referring to his progression at Ball State/SDSU along with opinions from those who've played for him, not the color he refuses to wear.
Don't question my fanhood.

Woo hoo!

but none the less on your Big stage theres nothing but B and C Listers performing on a weekly basis and has been for awhile now , But when your a Trojan playing at the legendary world famous Coliseum it's the who's who of the college football world performing on Prime Time TV Nationally , needless to say because we are the in crowd and the Party is over here on the westside

you see we celebrate because we can , in spite and despite the recent assasanation of our program by the NZAA , all they did was piss us off,
along with all the USC fans across the nation which just happened to be btw the very young and impressionable recruits we are now getting into our program who grew up watching and cheering USC and idolizing RB#5 ,ML 11 and Co.(woods.lee,Pullard,Bailey etc.) and they felt they were wronged as well, and they took it personal just like the Alumni and are now starting the RAGE against the MACHINE(NZAA)watch out Maize u just might see us in the RoseBowl again, and u know what happens there when the Trojans are in town, and so does the recruits.
