He's the only SC caliber TE on the West Coast, so hopefully that puts to bed the idea of bringing one in this class. The cupboard is so full there that it didn't lend itself to the staff bringing one in on limited scholarships to begin with, but if a kid like Baugh is interested, you at least consider it.

Now that he's off the board? Better to save the space for a different position.

Yeah I actually like this from the USC perspective (hate it from an MSU perspective), bringing on another TE this class is a waste of a schollie, young and stacked there.

I think if we recruited him it would be as a D-end, not a tightend.

He has said he is not taking any more visits and he is a Buckeye. Has a lot of family in the Dayton-Columbus area and apparently has been a big Buckeye fan for a few years. Would be surprised if he were to switch if USC offered but stranger things have happened.
