    It would be interesting to see how many posters here are actually rated the best in the Nation at their job. Last time I checked?...there's only one who can claim that. The rest doesn't mean shit!

    Yeah, lets all line up and offer a golf clap for the fine work our coaches have done with all that talent for the $millions our tickets pay them. After all, Pooh Bah thinks you have to be the best in your business to qualify for offering an opinion.

    F**k off...this is our team and we're pissed our high-priced coaches have f**ked it up his year through incompetence and ignorance. And no, i dont need an award in crisis management to know our defensive coach and head coach did a crap job this year.

    Couldn't afford an apt. with a high enough ledge back then.

    I find it hard to believe every poster here started rooting for SC in 2002. There has to be at least a few of you who went through Tollner, Smith, Robinson II, and Hackett. How did you all cope then?

    I'm not saying Lane is even close to John...but crying like a bitch when you can't do better helps what? Do you actually feel better after crying like a whore who didn't get paid?

    I don't think that usc would hire from this board. I don't think ucla or arizona hired their new head coaches that are 2-0 against lane this year, from this board. Easy to see when the wrong guy is in there from mora's and rich rod's couch.

    Still missing the point...happy with the history and looking forward to more football success but, what we all saw was a poor performance by our coaches this year...and we'll all deal with it just fine without your condescending comments.

    Curtis McNeil had 161 yards

    Rushing - SC 172 in 30 carries, UCLA 172 in 50 carries
    Passing - SC 341, UCLA 234

    Penalties - SC 6-51, UCLA 12-115
    3rd down conversions SC 4-10, UCLA 6-15
    4th down Conversions SC 0-1, UCLA 1-1
    Turnovers - SC 3 for 21 points, UCLA 1 for 7 points

    Add in 1 blocked punt, 1 blocked field goal, 1 missed field goal, 3 or four dropped passes, 4 or 5 passes to who knows where and you have the tale of the tape so to speak!

    So, here it is.....difference in the ball game is the turnovers!! The two Int's hurt bad and the fumble hurt bad. Did the defense have issues, yes! Some missed tackles and a few 3rd and longs that were allowed to be converted. UCLA had over 150 yards in the 1st quarter. That means they gained only 250 yards the rest of the game. So, the turnovers were clearly the difference in this game as they have been all season!
