The writing was on the wall for this one, it's been sort of clear for a while that he was going to get edged out of this class if there were more guys who wanted in than there were rides. This quote from him a couple weeks ago sort of said it all:
“I stand great,” LaRue said of his USC pledge. “When it comes down to it, we have a lot of guys that want to commit, a lot of guys visiting that are uncommitted and we have a scholarship thing. We just have to see how things play out and go from there.”

I just want some players to start committing already. It's hard to watch decommit after decommit but I'm sure USC's class will end up nasty!! I mean, it's SC.

He is going to be a solid player, good luck to him. We just done have the room to maneuver players from the defensive side to the offensive side of the ball with these sanctions. Sure, maybe here and there, but if we need to stand pat on a position we're going to see a lot more of this next year as well.

These are just reservations, not commitments.
I don't mind decommitments as long as they don't occur 24 hours before LOI day.

Finally!!!! whew,avoided that mistake,he never was true to the Trojan Family and tradition bring on another OL/LB in his place.IMO he is way too small for the collegiate level of play Mickens part deaux.

True, we got great kids in, and still coming.
But we should NOT be losing the number of kids, the quality of kids we have lost. As USC, we should be able to mitigate a lot of the negatives. Maybe the wheels arent off yet, but they are lose, damnit. And i just dont believe kiffin is the answer. LAck of talented players are not the issue, the HC is. If he stays, i truly beleive the wheels will be coming off.
I try to have faith that PH and the Prez won't let it come to that.
