Does George also own a restaurant in Newport Beach called Georges Camelot? BTW: Locations need to be freeway friendly. Belmont Shore is not.

The Yardhouse - and we have held Meet and Greets at several different locationsover the years - is inherently far to LOUD to hold a successful group social event. They design their restaurants to be this way. Its a form of built-in ambiance.
If you have to YELL just to speak to the person next to you, then you can't expect a table of 20 or 30 Trojan fans to be able to have much group interaction, which is one of the true pleasures of these gatherings. Further, any Guest Speaker or Question and Answer by Scott becomes an futile exercise.

You have a very valid point, and one I had already considered.... This topic will run through the end of the day today, and will then re-title to see what kind of participation we are going to get.
A sad but accurate testimony is that we frequently see comments from LA people wondering why most of the M&G's are held in the OC, but whenever we do stage one in LA, the attendance is almost always disappointing. The rare exceptions have been when I would hitch a gathering to the backside of an afternoon practice... Though that is no longer an available option.

I do think it was a good idea to re-title the thread, and thanks for doing so.
Now we'll definitely know who's interested. If there's not enough of a response for an LA event, I'm fine coming down to Long Beach for one of these if that seems to be a place where you can get a large concentration of people to turn out.

Based solely on the weak participation in this thread from the Greater L.A. area posters we are attempting to accommodate by scheduling a M&G in downtown Los Angeles, I am tempted to move this back to an OC location instead.
