Jason Hatcher will announce his decision on tonight at 4 pm PDT

I cam here a few weeks ago and said Hatcher was leaning towards Tennessee but was afraid of the staff not being there long. He also loves Louisville and loves the staff, but is concerned about our current conference situation. He also loves USC, probably the most, but his mom really wants him to stay home. In the end, I think he does go to USC even though I didn't think it was possible a few weeks ago. To him, Louisville and Tennessee have negatives (conference and head coach on massive hot seat respectively,) while USC is all positive. Especially since his parents can come visit still, etc.

I recently read that he dropped Louisville.

He hasn't technically dropped us, when he decides tomorrow there will be a Louisville hat on the table next to USC and Tennessee. He isn't coming here though. He is USC bound.

Congrats on a great player and a great kid. Very nice young man, and super talented. Should help USC get back to the top.

Hatchers 4.06 time in the shuttle and his 34.4" vertical leap at The Opening are what sold me. 5th fastest shuttle time of any player at the event regardless of position. A DE that's explosive like that? I hope we get his commitment.

Good luck this season. I hope you guys can hang onto your coach, as he is a winner, and also hope you eventually get into the Big 12.
Charlie Strong with good acces to Texas recruits could take you guys to another level once you're in the B12. I'm hearing they won't be expanding until next summer though as they can't agree on who to bring in with FSU. Some B12 members want Clemson and others want Louisville.

Like you say, if true an upside.
It's hard for an out of state guy to stay, especially if he's got a big target on his back from the in state school. Lucky they don't need him.
