It is a big hit, and the more you stay over here trying to convince us otherwise, the more you fail. If wasn't that big of a deal, you wouldn't feel the need to justify, or respond. You're denial is also a secondary sign, but like I said, in the interest of keeping the hostility at bay, good luck.

Any player Tenn didn't get from that area is a big hit for them. The coach will be fired after this year so tell him it's not that big of a deal. Not only that Paul Harris would've been a Trojan if we had full complement of rides so down play that buddy i am civil..If i wasn't being serious i would be singing Rocky Top all night long.LMAO

Woulda, coulda, shoulda, He's a Vol, and we're happy to have him. This year is the year to judge CDD, he walked into a dumpster fire (played 32 freshman the past 2 years, Oline had a combined 3 starts his first year, youth in the SEC is like a recipe for homemade dynamite) and, in my opinion, has handled it about as well as any other coach, he cleaned the program up and has built a foundation of talented young players. They were set up for a good year last year until injuries crippled an already young team. I won't deny that USC is a better football team than Tennessee right now, and they have been for the past few years, but the Pac12 isn't the SEC. I believe if Hunter returns at 100%, Cordarrelle Patterson lives up to the hype, and the defense adapts to Coach Sunseri's scheme, that they can go toe to toe with anyone in the country, but those are alot of if's. Good luck to Hatcher wherever he chooses. Grow up and learn to show some class "buddy".

"stick to GoVols247 for now on" (It's your choice)
^^^^^Are you serious with these two lines...your fan base is brutal compared to are's. Plus a health debate with a volfan is almost impossible (Outside yourself it seems) when dealing with three things lane kiffen + recruiting + mistresses =

You haven't said anything offensive and have been very respectful actually. It definitely was an overly strong statement to say you guys are self-destructing cause of Hatcher, I don't know why everyone here is being so sensitive. I hope we can all live in peace and you all can forgive Lane and company for how things happened (the timing wasn't his choice). Best of luck in recruiting the rest of the year and on the field. No reason we can't be friends here and exchange whatever recruiting info we've got.

It's refreshing to hear that this isn't a really big deal for Tennessee.
We're at a very hard number here and only have two more rides available. Chances are our last commit will not be a Tennessee consideration, so the horizon looks bright for everyone.
Best of luck to you guys from here on out.

Like i mentioned before, it's not a very big hit talent wise on the Dline. Self Destruct mode is a little over the top in my opinion, since it's just July and Tennessee pulled in a solid Dline class in 2012 which got even better with the enrollment of Dante Phillips, if you didn't know, he was the DE that got denied admission by Florida, ESPN top 150 player, US Army All American, find it a little weird that he was cleared by the NCAA but was denied at Florida, but he's looks good to go for fall camp so it's a positive for UT.

I was looking for more information on Hatcher's decision so i decided to check out this board, i saw the Self destruct comment and i believe it's a little much, i mean, he would be a great commit, but DL is looking good at UT for the next couple of years with Danny O'brien, Daniel McCullers, Dante Phillips, Latroy Lewis, Darrington Sentimore, and Trent Taylor. USC fans and other fans chime in from time to time on Tennessee's board and they're welcome to do so as long as they represent themselves with class. Nothing wrong with a healthy debate. Apparently it's not the same on the USC board. Hatcher is just one player and is not an immediate need, like Vonn Bell or one of the RB's UT's staff is currently recruiting. I apologize if i offended anybody, it'll be best for everyone if i stick to GoVols247 for now on.

After reading the Hatcher thread on the Vol's 247 board today, I would have to respectfully disagree with you my dear.
Some people seemed rational, but there were a lot of jackasses over there also. "USC couldn't play in the SEC week in and week out", "Players who want to go to USC are soft", etc.
A lot of idiocy in that thread.

Don't you think they're a little hurt right now? And all of a sudden, there are all these Trojans on their board?
Some of the stuff said by our guys could be viewed as boasting. I went on there before all this to just talk, and they were pretty nice and welcoming.
I have to be consistent in my dogging other members from opposing teams when they come over like the Michigan and duck fans, when we do it too.

This isn't really that big of a deal for Tennessee, we would love to land Hatcher, but it's just one player, the thing is that USC landed Ramsey, and some people thought Hatcher was a UT lean, but it looks like he's going to USC, it's the fact that Kiffin is getting guys that Tennessee is in consideration for, which kind of hits a fuse with alot of Tennessee fans after he bolted off and left the Vols scrambling a month before NSD and causing more instability, but thats done now, water under the bridge, like i said, it would be a great commitment for Tennessee, but i wish him the best wherever he chooses to go, whether its USC, Tennessee, or Louisville. Tennessee picked up Dante Phillips yesterday anyway, will be ready for fall practice and will help DLine depth. Best of luck to Ramsey and Hatcher wherever he chooses to enroll.

^^^^This.
I was in Memphis a couple of weeks ago and was wearing a USC hat...the venom spewed by people from Tenn about LK was disgusting. He is still hated in Tenn and getting two of the best prospects out of that state (a state that does not produce anywhere near the volume of quality players as CA) is chaffing them is a HUGE way.
