It's because deep down I am an SC fan. How can I attempt to slander the good name of the mighty USC. The only team deserving recognition and respect in collegiate football. I have the utmost admiration for SC football and SC fans alike. I too want to be pompous, self righteous and beyond narcissistic to the point of being a megalomaniac. I want to raise my son to be a blue chip talent out of high school so one day he can wear the cardinal and gold proudly and he can sport a $60,000 SUV around campus and show it off to all the LA women and I can have a house bought for me by the tainted money that boosters give me. And my son will play hard for a coach who buys the best players this nation has to offer and then completely dessert those same players right before the ncaa drops the hammer down on the program. SC builds character. Actually SC builds characters to play for divine comedy aka the mighty SC program.
