Isaac is excited about "Tailback U"

The Oregon football program's recent partial success reminds me of this Shelley poem:
I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: "Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown
And wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed.
And on the pedestal these words appear:
`My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings:
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!'
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away".

I can dig that. At least you brought some creativity to the table. +1 for you sir.

You went from talking out the side of your mouth about SC to now you're apologizing? Damn, that change of heart was fast. lol

It's because deep down I am an SC fan. How can I attempt to slander the good name of the mighty USC. The only team deserving recognition and respect in collegiate football. I have the utmost admiration for SC football and SC fans alike. I too want to be pompous, self righteous and beyond narcissistic to the point of being a megalomaniac. I want to raise my son to be a blue chip talent out of high school so one day he can wear the cardinal and gold proudly and he can sport a $60,000 SUV around campus and show it off to all the LA women and I can have a house bought for me by the tainted money that boosters give me. And my son will play hard for a coach who buys the best players this nation has to offer and then completely dessert those same players right before the ncaa drops the hammer down on the program. SC builds character. Actually SC builds characters to play for the divine comedy aka the mighty SC program.

He's got some serious ground to make up, seeing how ND/UM are his top two at this time. I don't see him waiting until signing day either.

  • You bozos can call your universities whatever you want, we let the media, coaches, sportswriters and the history books refer to USC as "Tailback U"....oh, and the kids still see it that way, as evidenced by this young man's reference in the title of this article.

    What a bunch of beggars.

You are aware that these recruits visit a lot of universities, right? You know, on their own dime and for camps? I know you people don't know what AER-O-PLANES are, but people use them who live outside the South to check out different programs.

I can think of 25,000 reasons why a certain coach from Eugene Is deserving of being voted the most crooked coach in the West.

We must remember Oregon Football started 6-7 years ago!! The last 100 years was there High School Football team!!fingergun

And it will end 6-7 games in to the season when sanctions come down and Chip is gone for good this time and the quacks bill be looking for a new pond to wade in. Don't fool yourselves up there in duck country enjoy it now it will be all temporary and gimmick offenses always are. The time has come and code is cracked and that's why Chipper wanted to bolt.

Hell we both got bent over by the NCAAssholes...

LOL. Now that right there is comedy.
You guys had ZERO done to you, considering your cheating/inelligible players were PROVEN to have been covered up by school administration. Considering the head coach was involved, and the AD lied to the NCAA initially about the lack of athlete-training, yada yada yada, you guys got fellated by the assholes at the ncaa...

  • Don't let the guys at Auburn hear him refer to USC at Tailback U. They think they own the title.

tOSU and Oklahoma have produced their share of quality RBs, but it's hard to argue with USC as the Tailback U.
