  • If USC is looking for another speed WR, they might want to look at Jalen Saunders, a transfer from Fresno State. He 50 receptions and over a 1,000 yards last year.

Scott, since we no longer have the big receivers in our arsenal wouldn't it make sense to go after two big speedsters to give us what we don't have right now?

I don't believe anyone would object to a WR class of Massington, Paul Harris, Travis Johnson, Darrell Daniels etc. Two of the three.

Travis Johnson's quarterback is something else himself. He has a gun, throws well on the run and is extremely accurate.

Who is the speed wide receiver? Steven Mitchell?

  • Daniels film is amazing: great size, great speed, great athlete. Who's better? Just came from a nice dinner at Heritage Hall. Dry salmon, super new McKay center.

Totally agree with you laars; however, I'm not to sure how stiff the competition was in the film. Johnson's play to me is so reminiscent of one Dwayne Jarrett upon watching the video..

I have to totally agree with you. That was one very impressive highlight reel of Daniels. If I were to simply choose one of them it would have to be Daniels.

It's always a question of competition and the level they are playing against. But one thing you can't deny, he has the measurables you want to see in a wide receiver plus no matter who he is playing against, he has blazing speed. Combine that with his size and this kid could be something special.

No trees were killed in the sending of this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

I would agree that Daniels video is the best, however if you watch all of Travis Johnson's he is a pretty close second. Videos don't always tell the story because of the level of competition but next to having the player in camp it's the next best thing to go on.

With Travis I was most impressed how he used his size to simply overpower the defenders. He caught the ball at the highest point and went after everything. They were tossing it up to him where he was the only one that could grab it and his technique was excellent for a guy his size using all of that size to his advantage.

You could say he is a big guy that plays even bigger. Hard to believe you could go wrong with any of them.

If you guys ate talking about Tampa product Travis Johnson I've see a few analyst say that he'll be a TE in college, or that he projects better aa a TE.

That has a familiar ring to it..........maybe another USC reciever from Plant that was drafted 10th...........as a WR.
