Maybe because it took him a while for his dream school to start focusing on CA kids, while he was getting offers from some other top notch universities, so he wants some time to think about everything.
Maybe because picking which university you want to attend is a major life decision that is better served with some time and thought than an immediate answer.
Maybe because Chris is on his timetable- not your timetable.
He will make whatever decision is right for him when he wants to make it.

Not on my timetable it's just Mr. Hawkins was so adamant about "no offer". Well the offer is on the table with very few spots available. Yes, I understand Stanford offered. But a chance to play in front of your family and friends every week from a top notch University that will be in the Top 10 every year doesn't come along all the time. As I said, no disrespect to the Hawkins family.

Im so freaking confused.....what is all this stuff about his Dad and the offer? I've never heard this guy, but obviously he must be some stud with this type of reaction to his offer.

Mr Hawkins (Chris' dad)is a big SC fan and posts on the board. He has been updating us about the process along the way, so congratulations are in order.
