Charles Dicken's penned it best - "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way. . . ."

If I was teaching a class on 19th century literature... I would use this example for the state of SC football. The administration, the coaches, the players, and the fans have a choice to make. Will we make this the best of times? Or will we shrivel up and concede to the worst of times.

Character will show over the next few years. Whether or not SC makes it back to the top... that character and never quit mindset to prove the world wrong must never waiver, must never cease, and must never surrender.

Thanks Scott! I want to believe the team will rally. I just can't wait to see it with my own eyes. I'll be there to rally behind them.

I fear that we haven't come close to hitting rock bottom. I suspect that will come after three years of 15 scholly's per year. The Trojan Nation may become a Trojan County.
