Just to get this straight, Tahaan had an in home visit with the USC coaches and his coach decided to call it off?
And is Goodman completely out or it just seems unlikely because of the timeline? There's no hope that we may have one spot left at the end or a spot might open up for Tahaan come NSD?

Good luck to him. And I hope that he enjoys the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl Game. The player rings from that game are much more collectable than four rose bowl rings.
Why is he waiting until after signing day? Is he waiting to see how many safety commits a school gets for depth chart reasons? Is he following in the footsteps of Bryce Brown, Seantrell Henderson and Terrell Pryor? No issues with any of those guys.

I have read reports where it has been alluded to that TG was looking for early playing time so I was attempting to connect the dots as to why he was potentially waiting until after signing day. It seems to me to be a legit question that TG may want to see the signed class prior to committing. SS mentioned that he was looking at depth charts and commits.
I made an edit. Part of my post was intented to disparage UCLA (hence the Kraft bowl reference) not TG. The part about the other guys was over the top and I removed it, my apologies to TG for the reference.

I've heard that Goodman is not a passionate fan of the game (ie, live and die football) and doesn't pay attention to history or have a favorite team or anything like that... My concern would be that after he enrolls he would see what it takes to be a part of a college team, doesn't feel that it's for him, and he quits the game. That would put USC in a bad position because that scholarship couldn't be replaced.
