And for those that think I'm just making shit up....check out page 6 towards the middle of the thread below....I kinda hinted that Kevin had issues, and this was 4 days ago.

You kids who were still in school know better, but man...Kevin was sure sweet to this old lady at their player's celebration party after the Rose Bowl, he was one of the kids that pulled me out onto the dance floor to dance with them!

It wasn't my old screen name it was my boy's, I was a rivals guy at the time but I'll PM you his screen name.

Oh damn. This is terrible. Someone told me about this earlier, but I am just now reading the story. I made a joke about the situation when I first heard the news, but I didn't realize at the time that Ellison seems to be dealing with some mental health issues. Hopefully this unfortunate situation will lead him to get the help he needs.

So true. Knew a guy from HS that seemed to have everything (popularity etc.)...real gounded dude.....one day in his early 20s he vanished. Ended up homeless in D/T LA after ditching his car and kinda flipping out. Now he struggles with major bi polar/schizophrenia issues daily.
I poked fun earlier in the thread (sorry I had JUST seen grandma's boy thurs night), but I hope Ellison finds he help he needs. A sad situation no doubt.
For $20 you get Chachi, but $40 gets you Fonzie....

Just some info:
Onset of schizophrenia is often 18-25. They usually have a prodrome, meaning that they show signs of something being amiss without having full blown psychosis that may begin earlier.
Apparently he has been smoking weed per the article on espn, cannabis can also induce psychosis, especially in those who have a predisposition.
Many folks outside of the mental health community feel cannabis is safe and fun. There is an abundance of literature linking it with psyhosis, especially if used chronically early in life.
I am not familiar with the details in his case whatsoever but I feel for him, his friends and his family.
