And did you see that great backside block he laid on Manti to help Woody get that 1st down?!!?

  • All the lack of talent posters look really silly when someone as good as McNeal is waiting in the wings and some games didn't even see carries.

The guy is a 5'7" BEAST at RB.

  • LOVE the way Moody runs!

  • Moody runs with more heart than any other tailback on the team right now. Gotta love the little dude!

  • Incredible game by Moody.

I was a doubter. I didn't believe he had that in him. I am very happy that he proved me wrong in a major way.

The tandem between Tyler and McNeal is working well - and McNeal really turns it on in the 4th quarter.

I thought the rotation tonight was spot on.

Really? Obviously you're here manning up so I'm not kicking you while you're down but all I've seen from the kid is consistently high numbers and a particularly good effort in the 4th quarter just about every time he's touched the ball.

Your football smarts (unlike your politics - couldn't resist) are pretty good so I'm kind of susprised you were a doubter.

Doesn't matter. It's a perfect day (week) and all is good with the world and now we know.

    Yep. I was wrong.

When Moody had success in the 4th quarter in games earlier this season, I attributed that success to him being in the game late......after the opposing team knew they were about to lose and had lost some of their heart.

  • I think Marc Tyler and Curtis McNeal could be a solid combination. USC will need them.

Yes, and you're going to see more George Farmer, too -- as a runner and receiver. Best, Loel Schrader

  • Props to the little guy.

Nice to see a RB 'get stronger' at he got more carries. It's been a while since I've seen an SC running back look that way. Yards after contact, carrying people, shifting just enough to get extra yards, vision, and burst to get through a hole before it closes.

  • The best thing about this is we will still have him next year! The spin move he did on Teo was amazing!! We also did pretty well on blocking Teo in this game! He looks exhausted all game long!

Both Tyler and McNeal are playing as I thought they could. Even so, USC doesn't have a great runner. USC lacks championship talent at running back.

  • Moody is in great physical shape and that is why he can go strong late in the game. Tyler ran too straight up and looked like he was too much concerned with protecting the ball. our running backs can get much better.
They had big holes to run through against ND.
I wish we had more confidence on short yardage situations with the backs. Like a guaranteed 1 yard gain when we need it.
It's awesome to see Moody break out like that but we still need more breakaway speed in the backfield. I don't know if Farmer is the guy. Farmer is fast but runs like a robot now on a straight line.

What is a championship caliber running back? I thought it was a team game. We have running backs who can be championship caliber on a team that can be championship caliber. The O-line took a big step forward in this game and is only going to get better.

Now everyone want to hop on the ''Moody ''Bandwagon I always said he is our version of MJD and will put the T back in ailback U and got insulted and ran off TOS now look. Welcome aboard it's about time the coaching staff notice, with our ''BIG OL''he hides behind them and uses his vision well and runs with leverage and violence Fight on Moody.nice game he will only get better with playing time and faster with the comfort level of playing consistantly and stronger the good news we have him for another year.

if that's the same move i'm thinking of, i would instead describe it as a power-through-spin. he made teo look weak
