USC 2013-2014 All Sports Head-to-Head Record: 236-103-2 (0.695)
My USC Football Attendance Streak (Home and Away): 48
Halftime: 3-4, stanford
We started very slow. The cardinal scored on the first possession. End of the first it was 0-2. They scored again early in the second making it 0-3. Then we came back strong with a 3-1 run. Gotta keep that up.
Our offense has been kinda sluggish. Needs to move around more and drive to the goal. We seem to be waiting for plays to develop instead of creating them.
4:37 left in the game, down by 1, 5-6. Still a bit sluggish.
Tie game with 2 minutes left. Yeah, I can't handle watching this.
SC playing like they want it more in these last few minutes. That last steal/goal series was impressive.
Cry Havoc; and let slip the dogs of war!
That's the way you do it! That's the way you debate!
Not entirely certain that exclusion penalty was legit.
Overtime here we come ...
Went ahead 7-6, then stanford tied it up at the last second on a very suspect exclusion. Overtime.
8-8, going to second overtime.
We keep letting stanford score with no time left.
Pissed that this isn't televised on PAC 12 network. Incompetents.
9-8 stanford - a huge miscall by the refs twice in a row.
And now a missed call coming over the top on the "steal"
We're getting hammered by the refs this period.
Not so sure about that contra foul against Stanford so I guess we're even now.
9-9, going to sudden death.
Second OT ends 9-9. We now go to Sudden Death overtime and Stanford will likely start with the ball since they've beaten us on the drop every single time.
Stanford wins the ball.
Great stop by USC.
let's take it down and win this!!!!!
Stanford Steal/ USC contra.
Now a USC steal.
Refs trying to stay out of it on both ends like they should.
USC shoots from a long distance as the shot clock runs out.
Stanford shots form a long distance as the shot clock runs out.
USC runs out of time as the clock for this period of sudden death runs out. \
Second period of Sudden Death (seriously though - why not just let them keep going in one period of sudden death?)
I think it's just to give them a bit of a breather.
