If they win out, they go to the MNC, Stanford or UCLA goes to the Rose, and we get a better bowl.
Right now, we're looking like the MAACO Bowl. I know El Paso sucks, but the Sun Bowl seems a lot more prestigious than MAACO bowl. And if Oregon State loses a couple, we'd maybe play the Holiday bowl. Disappointing season for sure, but it could end better than the MAACO bowl.

No the Rose bowl will take Notre Dame if Oregon goes the MNC, why take a 3 loss team when you can take a 12-0 or at worse an 11-1 ND. The Rose Bowl contractual obligation to the Pac-12 extends only to the Conference Champ, after that they pick whoever they want.
Nah, I'm good. I'll never root for the Ducks. Whatever bowl SC gets, they deserve.
And Stanford might not even make it back into the top 14 after they lose to Oregon(assumption), so the Rose might not even have that option. I also cant see a realistic scenario where USC can make the holiday bowl.
Wouldnt ND/Nebraska make a crappy rose bowl? I cant imagine no pac team.

I think, at this point, I'd rather see oregon win it than bama or notre dame. And if they do, I think chip's more likely to move on.

Will never cheer for Oregon to win in anything. F them and their fans
Well, unless stanford somehow upsets oregon, it's looking like oregon/nd or oregon/bama. Who do you prefer in those?
Well said, agree 110%
