From the LA Times
standout junior offensive tackle from Lakewood who is committed to USC, enrolled on Friday at La Habra, his father, Vince, said.
He was originally expected to enroll at Bellflower St. John Bosco but issues with trying to graduate early caused the family to decide that La Habra would be the best school to get him out in time to enroll early next year at USC.
Love that he chose La Habra so he could be an EE next year for SC. Great news and great reason.
And with all the posts about OL, I thiught this may bring some early morning smiles

Yes, thanks for the heads-up, Brian.
Love this kid! Hear he is a good young man, nice family...!!!!

2014 we need to reload on the OL.
Our current three commits are top of the heap.
Toa is looking like he is a solid commit.
So is he legit? How does he compare to Falah?
I think Jordan Poland is also going to be an EE for us next year, especially since he has exhausted his high school football eligibility this year already.
Sometimes, you just know when the eyes have it.
Wait....huh? How does that happened?
How is this possible?
I don't remember the exact circumstance but the complication stemmed when he transferred from his high school in AZ to SD last year.
Apparently, it was determined or found that last year would have been his 4th year playing high school ball even though he was technically only a junior as far as his high school academic standing is concern.
I'm sure SS and the others would know more of the pertinent details.
Think some schools star as 8th grade
Didn't Sills do this?
Great to hear! The earlier the Oline can get here and start developing the better!
So can he not play football his senior year, since he transferred? Sounds similar to Tee Shepard last year. Didn't Shepard transfer schools so he could graduate early and EE, but wasn't allowed to play football at his new HS?
Unless he moved into La Habra HS boundaries. If he did I assume he's eligible if not he would need a waiver from CIF I believe.

Correct, Poland can not play at Country Day during the 2013-2014 school year. He finished his "true" junior year in Arizona (he was really young for his age), and then came as an "academic" junior to Country Day. He'll be done with his requirements to graduate by December, so he can join USC as an EE.
I haven't found any great film on Lobendahn but I really like his attitude and perspective in interviews. He also has a great build. He reminds me of a bigger Nico Falah - but I have no idea how that translates onto the field because I really need to see junior year highlights. If anyone has them please post them in this thread.
