I think we should let Alex Wood (correct me if I am wrong on the name) attempt field goal kicks. I understand he is not Aundry Heidari, but I am sure he make field goals from 30 to 35 yards based on his practices. Also it is better to get 3 than to get none. To prevent further injuries for Aundry, what if we have somebody else handle kickoffs and have Andre do field goals and PAT's. That way, there is less of a chance for injury. We should also recruit a kicker for the 2014 class, so we can have a replacement, once Aundry leaves. Any thoughts?

I think we'll need a new kicker in 2015, not 2014 right? Hedari started in 2011, so 12, 13, 14? We couldn't have had him in 2010 with all those missed kicks...

Isn't Craig McMahon also a PK?
Not sure why between Wood and McMahon that CLK wouldn't attempt a 30-yd FG.
We cannot hinder our offense like that....
FYI to the OP: it's "Andre." You're thinking of either Aundrey Walker or a pile of Laundry.
I know just about everyone on here hates Scott Wolf, but he tweeted less than a week ago that Wood once hit a 51-yard FG in H.S.
The coaches are always preaching "next man up". But, if you don't show any faith in that "next man", then what's the point? Alex booted 6 PATs in the Syracuse game. So, he had at least two weeks of practice before the Stanford game. Am I to believe that between McMahon and Wood and our ST coach, that we couldn't get either one ready in two weeks to kick FGs? That is really disconcerting....
