Kinda like telling an ugly girl she has a nice forehead. Always look for the bright side.
On Stanford's final 4 th down on that crappy pass to 6'11", pollack was saying shitty pass, Palmer was the ex qb saying wr gave up on the play. Wasn't it an obvious overthrow? Palmer lost some points in my book there

Good point im no Palmer fan at all. I agree Stanford's front 7 are good. I know espn is the sec network, and Pollack graduated from Georgia. It was odd to hear a ex florida player Palmer, giving props to a pac-12 team. I think Pollack didn't like that though. Both qb's were not that good. IMO
The last pass to the te was horrible. Thats where Palmer sounds stupid.

Obvious overthrow that was thrown too early and to the inside too much. Should have been a back shoulder with slight under throw. No way for the DB to make a play if the ball is in the right spot. Between the #88 who dropped at least 4 passes with two being potential TD's, and Nunes making mostly horrible throws, Stanford's offense was a shell of what it was against SC. If you noticed, Stanford was way strong with their front 7, but they started missing tackles and that cost them. They played lights out against SC and got away with some holds that helped them keep SC from making more scores. A couple of breaks and SC wins just like the breaks UW got from missed tackles allowed them to win.
