So what's a realistic list of coaches that are up and coming who we might be able to get next season? I'm pretty sure he knows he's gone since he decided to relocate to San Diego while he's still coaching here. Is there any chance we could steal the coaches from Butler or VCU? And more importantly, will the bars in downtown LA see a serious economic hit with KO gone?
One of the shitty parts about not firing KO early is the fact Howland might also get shit canned this year. Regardless of who is available, FUCLA will most likely get first dibs before us.
There are plenty of coaches out there. Doesn't matter who UCLA gets. I think a Brad Stevens-type could be persuaded to come for the $, facilities, and university we can offer.
Embarrassing that our AD decided to keep him ensuring an empty Galen Center for 3 years instead of 1...anybody watching basketball knew this was the result before it happened.
CKO is not representative of USC, is not a very good coach, and most importantly will not ever fill Galen Center.
USC should have gone after Frank Martin last year. Would have been the perfect coach for USC and was looking to leave Kansas State.
With Pitt having a couple of down years, time to go after Dixon again and if that doesn't work, find me a coach with great AAU connections.
Coach Guillory, I like the sound of that.
larry brown? he likes to switch programs. i like the jamie dixon idea. he's from LA. brad stevens will be tough, i think he's a butler alum.

OK, I'm on board KON must go; I was one of those who said he should be given a year due to the injuries depleted roster last year, but that last game was way baaad.

I was surprised we didn't go after Martin. Perhaps his intensity scared Haden away?
KO is the Jim Jones of CB.He'll brainwash you into thinking injuries is the reason for losing. The guy has a overall losing record, can't develop an offense, cold blooded toward lesser players and is boring as hell.He should have been a principal. Now, the followers of KO are coming home to roost. Arizona and Tenn fans warned us.
You can't go after a new coach if you aren't looking to fire your old coach.
Can you imagine how bad it would be if KO coached football? There would be a full on riot.
My thing has been if we do not make into the NCAA tournament, then he should either resign or be fired. NIT tournament is not good enough. Does everyone think Haden will feel the heat or do what's right if the basketball team does not make the NCAA tournament? Thanks
KO's contract is up after this year, and he was making like 1.7 mill a year or so, and my guess is that's why he got to stick through the end of it. I can't imagine he gets a new contract, you can't consciously make that decision.
With Haden at the helm, nothing would surprise me at this point.
If they don't fire O'Neill this season then they should move the team back to the Sports Arena. Oneill is not worthy!!!
I'd still say Theus. Home is here, coaching the Lakers D league, coached under Pitino, played under Tark, did a very good job with New Mexico, recruits very well. He has been passed over pretty often for jobs but still think he ll do well when he does get a head job. I'm sure he ll land more talent than we have been getting without a doubt.
KO shouldn't be allowed to coach another game... get someone in here who can start recruiting now for next year.

Fight On! Leave No Doubt.
He'll never be a long term NBA coach, maybe he'll want to coach SC?
Sounds good. What happened to his New Mexico gig?
Believe he took the Sacramento Kings job which didn't go that well
More like SC "Whoops"!
Yeah, I'm one of them, but my point of reference was Marquette. I guess that was too far back
