Do you see it as a bad sign if SC sets visits from here to signing day? Especially since none are set from here to signing day.
It is hard to argue with the staff when it comes to recruiting.
Not really, I doubt this staff will waste a scholarship spot unnecessarily, and you just have to have contingencies. It wouldn't shock me if we don't use all of our scholarships this year though, just like last year. As good as these guys are at recruiting there's too many OOS guys involved for these last spots to consider anyone a lock.
It depends on who will be visiting in this hypothetical situation.
If USC starts scheduling visits for "plan B" type of players this late in the process, then it could mean that we are scrambling to fill out the class because some of our present commits or the ones we are recruiting very hard are falling off the table.
However, if the visitors are guys like Carl Lawson or M. Adams, L. Tunsil etc., then certainly that presents a different type of dilemma altogether, which does not necessarily forebode to a bad sign.
Sometimes, you just know when the eyes have it.
I don't think so. With the way we got blind-sided by Peat and Murphy last year, I think CLK needs to have lots of back-up plans. We still have 11 kids to ink on NSD. Most of them are solid. Some may flip. And we still have 3 spots to fill. It also allows the staff to evaluate those players more. Maybe there is a kid that CLK is intrigued with. By bringing him on an OV it lets him get additional one-on-one time with him. With such limited spots, we cannot miss on any commits.
If there are no visits from here on out, I'd be ecstatic!! To me... it would imply that the staff has solidified the rest of the class.
If someone visits this wkd or on the 2nd... then feel free to let your imagination run wild.
100%! I'd like to think the staff is going to use the next two weeks to solidify the good work they've already done.
...or, it could mean that USC is not waiting for anyone, covering all bases...the list is long of those that wish to be Trojans.....

True, but let's be real...
We don't know these kids and just how good their competition is, but I think we'd all agree that there are not many "better" options out there when looking the current commits and potential commits.
QB- Browne is already enrolled
RB - Davis is in class; Isaac looks legit. I would only entertain Tyner over him
WR - Mitchell is all that is wanted/ needed, imo... especially with DRogers in as well
OL - Falah & KRodgers appear to be all that's available. That could change tonight if Harrison commits.
DL - Hatcher, Prevot, Bigelow... with potential additions of EV, A'Shawn seem to be all that remain
LB - This is where it gets interesting. Hutch is solid, but Powell or Thomas could get at one or of the remaining Schollies. The coaches will have to be careful here, unless they suspect Prevot is not as solid as we believe.
DB - We are ALL in love with these guys - Su'a, CHawk, LM3, and Ramsey. Maybe there's room for one more... who knows.
If there are any visits in the next 2 weeks, the recruit is likely to be a downgrade from what is currently on board. This is why I said that I'd be ecstatic if there weren't any more OV's.
