Horrible no call. 5 minutes prior to that, they gave the Ravens a PI call for much less holding. Can't stand the Zebras sometimes.
Niners fan: Holding
Ravens fan: Good call
Just that simple!

The most important thing!
Could have gone either way.
Magnified since it was the end of the game - there were other calls/non-calls all game that were also mentioned in this thread.
There is no grey area it was a hold directly in front of the ref with a great angle to see it.. Crabtree tried to forearm shiver the defender to get him off of him but that was after he was being held, it doesnt matter if the ball was catchable it is a penalty on the other side of the feild. I get it though it would have been a crappy way to hand the superbowl over to the niners but thats on the defender... don't freakin grab jersey on the last damn play where you just have to not screw up.
I hate how in all the major sports for whatever reason when it gets down to pressure or championship scenerios officiating changes or forgets about the rules. Baseball they wont give the walk with the game on the line with a full count it either has to be a blatant ball or you better be swinging. With Basketball its a royal rumble from what was earlier a touch foul game in the last seconds.
As a player how do you account for that crap when your just reacting off muscle memory at times, doing what your trained to do. A hitter is suposed to change his approach in the most important at bat of the year with the most pressure on the line? When utah draws up its defense versus the bulls for the last shot they all of sudden are supposed to account for MJ tossing Russel out his way for a nice an easy wide open jumper and now as a QB yor supposed to account for DB's holding your recievers..... NO thats why the rules are in place in first place, the refs are choosing to let a team play outside the rules(cheat) instead of intervening and putting there neck out there to make the right call.
That was my complaint about the refs. I understand they wanted not to interject themselves into the game but the first half was freaking annoying. It seemed every time somoene got a first down, you'd see the "look how great I am pose." I thought Boldin should have been flagged for taunting on the great scramble and pass Flacco had in the first half.
